As can be seen from my bio, I recently made the decision to leave the company where I worked for 6 1/2 years to travel around Italy for a few months, hoping at the end to come out refreshed and ready to begin the next stage of my career in a field than will interest and excite me - what that is, I'm not sure, but hoping the time out will serve me well in deciding!
Well, after three weeks in unemployment limbo AKA Bo'ness, the day before I leave is finally here. Time has been spent shoehorning clothes and "essentials" into my 55 litre rucksack which will hold my life for the next eight or so weeks, ensuring its financially sound for me to even take this trip and, most importantly, making sure my iPod is filled with great tracks to be the trip soundtrack!
I hope to keep this blog updated with info on my travels so you can keep tabs on where I've been and what I've seen - also so my mum can know where I am, as the trip is being planned along the way.....yes Little Miss Organised is learning how to chill out!
